New York Woman Tried To Smuggle Drugs Into Skook Prison, Troopers Say

A Bronx woman is in state police custody after authorities said she tried to bring drugs into a Pennsylvania prison.

Natasha Santana, 42, was trying to get the drugs to an inmate at the State Correctional Facility Mahanoy in Frackville, PSP said in a release.

She was arrested without incident, they added.

Court records show Santana posted 10 percent of her $10,000 bail and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for May 9.
